Anyone interested in playing the MASKED SURFER (Danny Amis) ? Or SUNSET GLIDE (eliminators)? Just curious.
OK?
I am bringing my fretless Koa Carvin LB5 bass. I play guitar too but I won't have one with me.
You can hear some of the Mexican Chili Taco Fiesta CD

That track is on that album #2
You can hear some of the Eliminators Room To Move CD at CD BABY track number 8

And also add, (sign up list) to the thread title.

Hope you would enjoy playing rhythm on PACIFICA. WOULD YOU ?
That would make it a quartet.

Hey guys,
I'll attend the convention, I can play rhythm or lead guitar on one song if needed.
Also I suggest "Haunted house of rock" or "Plymouth Rock" by the Satan's Pilgrims if anyone interested !
Thanks,
Yannick

I'm Chuck from the Hillbilly Hellcats of Denver and I am available to play rhythm or lead on a tune if you can tell me which one in advance so I can learn it. This will be my first SG 101. I take it you will have amps there?

Yup, tons of amps. Fender Showman's or the equivalent.

Carol,
I may be wrong, but I think Big Papu is on lead guitar on the song with Remora 1 and I.

i may be confused by previous posts, he also replied to don-don't fear the reverb bass- that he could do the lead on pacifica.

last year, Ralf Kilauea told me that he took the strings off his Fender , disassembled the neck from the body (four screws..has to happen all the time for neck straightening on some models ) wrapped the body in his clothes and separately wrapped the neck in clothes. The luggage went through normal. Then , if you read what happened to John Blair in route to Piza airport; you find that bringing the instrument with you is much better option. Just saying. My bass would not fit in the overhead and some planes will let you gate check it. Also a much better option than flying it in the under carnage BUT as I wrote on the main SG101 CON page ( to no reaction) ( I thought I might be helping somebody with the same delema ) I recently purchased a MONO bag (not cheep) and the accompanying SKB ATA TSA LOCK guitar bag carrier. Now, I am not a big fan of bags really. I have hard cases for all but two of my instruments. I have traveled with guitars many times before mostly riding them in the overheads. But this was the first trip with a bass (a neck through the body design) and when I saw what the blessed TSA did to my case and cause potential damage and loss , I was shocked into getting something that would take care of my prized KOA fretless. They tore the gaffers tape off the girth of the case and did not replace it. (Snoopy bastards) and when I got it at the carousel , only one latch was holding. And now that fairly expensive tweed case doesn't lock correctly. Anyway , here are pictures:

Have guitar, will travel. I'd be into makin' some noise if there's any room left. Maybe a Martin Cilia tune or somethin' cool like that. :). What time does it start? How early do I have to get up? Lol.
