Here's one I found on Youtube. Stampede! Crash (bassist)recorded most of the set on a GoPro. When I'm back in Canada, we will go through 'em.
That Crash sure likes to dance!

Are there any plans to re-broadcast the live shows from this year's Surfer Joe (for those of us who were too drunk / overwhelmed with emotion to enjoy it properly first time around)?

I finished my surfer joe fest weekend review on the previous page, for those that wanted to see it

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Thank you! enjoyed reading it a lot.
LoeD

here comes the WEST SAMOA SURFER LEAGUE

You were certainly a busy man Jeff. I was watching you dashing here there and everywhere thinking it was a shame you'd come so far to see all these bands but were so busy. Luckily I'm an anonymous surf music fan so I could enjoy the bands in their entirety!

I agree with you about the A-Phonics. I was on the stairs above the stage so I was listening to their set from their backline amps and they sounded fantastic. Every year there seems to be a band you've never heard of that blow you away, a band that you have heard of that blow you away and one band that you look forward to seeing that disappoints.

I reckon at Surfer Joe you see more surf bands in the one weekend (possibly one night!) than you do in ten years in your hometown.

Here I put a list of videos that I recorded at the festival. There are 32 videos with 19 bands & a guest

And here 6 videos last show tour of The Blair Pongracic Band in my birth city (Guadalajara)

Yeah Don, I kinda knew going in, that I would miss a bit here and there,
but its ok, like I said, I could always hear them playing.
Not every band can be a 10 on a 1-10 scale, and people have different tastes. Over all, Lorenzo did an amazing job of booking a great weekend of bands. as for me seeing lots of bands in a weekend.
Maybe not 20-25 in one weekend. But Im pretty spoiled here in So Cal,
and I have seen hundreds of surf bands over the last almost 20 years Ive been into surf. Yes

hahahhaa, thanx Jeff Big Grin

It was great to meet you too. I always say that, at the same height of the bands, the best of the festival is to meet old and new friends with people from other countries to which we only know through the forums, facebook, festivals or bands tour

Yes I agree, my best friends are from the surf scene.

What about the girls? Big Grin

Ha!!!
dirty little guy,
I was there with the Best Girl Dorthy,
I wasn't paying attention to any other girls.

I know! Smile But needed to ask just in case you spotted (or someone else) a special one Big Grin .
Nice photo, looking good and happy.

So, you bought only all-euro cd and vinyl? Any some hard to find american stuff? I'm curious about that cause SJSF may be displaying the largest surf music vendor area in the whole planet at least for a weekend.

When you have to shoot ... shoot! Don't talk.

Agree; that's a look of some level of contentment (regardless of how hungover/tired/jet-lagged one may be). Cool pic. Cool

Been back home from Italy since tuesday morning. Spending my last couple of vacation days browsing and selecting through all the photo's taken on this trip. Ofcourse I got stuck on the Surfer Joe photo's...
Too many... To many... Shock

So a 32 hour photo shop marathon followed and I just finished it. Brought the thousands of pics down to a selection of 125. Man, I shot so many festival over the years, but this was the hardest to proces.

And now I'm finished with it, I know why... My heart and soul are in these photo's!

Sitting here crying in my empty wine glass... missing all of those nice people!
Santanu, Evan, Jon-Paul, Ivan, Lorenzo, too many to mention.

YOU STOLE MY HEART!!!!

Well, back to the photo's Big Grin

A couple of snapshots:

First, the most important one, the North Sea Surf Radio DJ-team that made it possible for y'all at home to get a glimps of this great festival:

And the worst photo of me and my wife ever... but we are 'sandwiching' the most beautifull people in the world, so that compensates it big time!

Oh, too emotional... or to tired, I forgot to mention were you can see the rest of the 125 (!) photo's: http://www.arnyzona.com/surferjoefestival2015

Hope you like it!

One last thing, a BIG sorry to Pirato Ketchup, I missed their show, so no pictures of them. Sorry, sorry! We were at a pizza restaurant and somehow it took them forever to get the bill to our table. Again, sorry...

One last one, that was THE performance of the weekend for me: the Jon & Ivan show Big Grin
hmmm... or was it Tremelo Beer Gut or Daikaiju? Sorry, you both were a very close shared 2nd)

Those are damn good photos!! Particularly like the Daikaiju one...

Presumably you were having some sort of out-of-body-experience when taking the Daikaiju shot?

Yep, Somehow I elevated a meter from the ground like a Tibetan Monk Big Grin
