Hi SG101er's,
I need to fund my Slack Key guitar project (recording equipment and a Go-Pro needed for instagram and FB posts). I play only for charity so the only way to fund it is to sell gear I'm not using. Please PM if interested. Maybe trade for a great mic + cash? or all cash? (not sure how much this amazing reverb unit is worth at the moment, need to research better). Dario Gomez makes the BEST surf guitar gear!!!! I wish I had more time to play surf music but slack key taking up all my spare time.

I've got g spring in tweed too. Love it.
Even found custom brown cover on eBay to go with it.

Instead of putting the verb up for sale you ought to give it to someone that would APPRECIATE it and pay it forward- as I gave you the Surfer combo amp that you promptly sold in less than a few years. It was never intended for you to sell that amp. It was my own, personal amp. I gave it you as a friend and you turned around and made money off of it and also for less than parts. I wished I had not given you the amp for you to have done such a thing. No good deed goes unpunished it seems. I should have given the amp to Noel in the first place.

this may be more appropriate for a PM but I recall offering to give the Surfer Combo amp back to you and you said it was mine to do with as I please since I had given you my wholesale parts account and had given you so much encouragement to start your amazing amp business. I study and practice slack key guitar 2 hours a day and play only for charity and community events. Its a lot of work with a lot of expenses so the money is going to my efforts to help others.
Please PM me with your contact info and I'd be happy to send you a check for the Surfer. And yes, I really did appreciate the amp, LOVED playing it, but surf music wasn't my calling as much as slack key guitar is.

I did send you a message that went into a black hole. This was prior to the amp being sold.
It was never given as quid pro quo. It was a sentimental gift to you as a friend. It was never my intention for the amp to be SOLD. I would have done that myself. As I mentioned in the unresponded email, I had hoped you would have given the amp to someone in "paying it forward" as I had done for you.
It was never about money. My friendships are far deeper than that. It was about sharing the gear and having it go to a good home. Had you really considered me a friend, an email with your intentions to sell it may have averted this.
I don't want your money. Perhaps consider my prior advice and donate the reverb unit to someone that would cherish it and not try to make a buck off the generosity.
