Bump for this thread. There's some videos on other pages, click to listen! Just ignore the drama and trolling and typical internet bickering that also shows up.

This album is so amazing!!!

On my wishlist for this Summer!
Will get these at the Convention.

When you have to shoot ... shoot! Don't talk.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

Mysteriis Alienis Mundi is my favorite surf release in the last 5+ years. I LOVE this album!!!

Of all the amazing bands at Surfer Joe this year, The Taikonauts were the ones I wanted to see the most. Unfortunately I couldn't get to Italy this year, but I am very thankful to NSSR for their live broadcast so I can at least hear what their set sounds like.

I hope that someday The Taikonauts can be talked into a California tour. Maybe for the convention (hint hint Jeff!) Cool

I want to buy their vinyl, but I'm not sure if they will ship here to the states. I should send their website an email or something.

Yes they are an amazing band, I had the chance to see them back in France and had a blast ! That would be cool to see some videos of their performance at Surfer Joe.

josheboy if they can't ship the vinyl to you there is one for sale on Ebay with worldwide shipping accepted (I know I had checked for myself ;) )

Agree I saw them for the first time a couple of months ago and they rapidly became one of my favourite bands. I actually won a copy of their latest album in a photo contest they did on Facebook and went to pick it up at a show they played in Belgium. They went on stage and completely blew me away, they're one of those bands that have managed to create their own universe (no pun intended) in the realm of "surf" music. And they're real nice guys as well: after the show I went to buy a t-shirt and I had to twist their arm to accept my money, they just wanted to give it to me for free. But I insisted, so they gave me the vinyl of their first album and some more promo material instead, just like that.

Their show at SJSF was one of my personal highlights of the weekend, and if all goes as planned I'll go see them again this Sunday in Belgium for the last show of their current tour. I could ask them about shipping vinyl to the US if you want ? Or you could contact them through their website or on Facebook, I'm sure they'll get back to you as soon as they can.

Cheers !

Who's the big dummy who introduced them late?
:-/

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Hehe, bigtikidude, sorry for this, we didn't know you would introduce the band. Anyway, your introduction after the first break in "Attack!" sounded great !! Smile

Any chance the new album is on Bandcamp? I know it is heresy, but I am moving along from physical copies of things nowadays.

Josh put the bandcamp link in the post right above yours.

On permanent repeat! Thumbs Up

EDIT: And just for the record, flying saucers are real.
