Very cool!!

You'll probably dig this one Norm, it's some very rare footage of the Munsters Band performing at the Hollywood Bowl in '64.

YEP!! That footage of the Munsters band blew my mind when I first saw it. God bless YouTube and old 8mm cameras!

The audio of the Munsters playing can be heard at minute 59:19 of this clip below. They only do one song. The Premiers of "Farmer John" fame performed as the Munsters live. They do their hit at minute 40:50

I adore this thread!

Indeed!!! Here's a super cool promo clip of Screaming Lord Sutch doing his 1963 hit "Jack the Ripper"!

I'm thinking Jerry "The Phantom" Lott may be one of the earliest masked men that I can think of?

I would also say Jerry "The Phantom" Lott is the first masked rocker that I can think of. He came in '58. And Screaming Jay Hawkins dressed as a Voodoo Priest/Witchdoctor in '56 was the first with a wild costumed gimmick. His "I put a Spell on You" in '56 is pretty legendary.

Garage band THE NEW COLONY SIX in '65-66 obviously took a cue from The Raiders!
