Love that album! You saw them live? Lucky!
I picked up both Threesome releases. Also the Yellow Balloon which is not surf- Sort of a Beach Boys/Association sunshine pop band from the late 60's. Happy vocals and shiny arrangements.

Dam!

Danks,

I'm really enjoying The Monterrey's new release "Pharaoh." Of course I did have a Crazy Aces-A-Palooza fest on the way up to Instro Summit.

Time well spent for sure.

Ed

Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?

Yellow Balloon is a fantastic album/band! "Stained Glass Window" is an amazing song, but all of em are great.
Jan and Dean covered the song, "Yellow Balloon", but their cover isn't as good.

Ha, The Avalanches - thanks for that. That would've been some room to be in, eh?

Yeah, it would have. The guy who owns the shop showed me an original Dick Dale "King of the Surf Guitar" LP, a promotional copy. Barely saw a needle. He's not going to sell it.

Then he told me the woman who brings him in almost all the LPs I've been buying from him says she has a lots and lots more of these. Oh, myyyy!
