SOLD!
OK, it's a rare and freaky 60s Fender Variable Delay ECHO-REVERB unit ))) aka Oil Can Tel-Ray Adineko. New tubes, new belt, pots cleaned, etc. It is Unreal Mint LOOKING. It works but I'm not sure it works like a new model, I think it needs new oil.. See update below..

Oh man that's pretty cool. Seems like a steal of a price for something in such great shape. Tempted...

I will do a little demo hopefully tomorrow. I had it open today putting in a set of new preamp tubes and cleaning the pots. I happened on this thing like tripping over a root across the trail at night, but I wanted it so bad because it literally looks like it came from the showroom in the late 60s.. the dang chrome on the handle is still shiny and the tolex is so new looking. there's even a service sheet tucked in the original fender shipping box from CBS. I want to keep it bad as a vintage fender hoarder but I'm not rich. I gotta pay for the next thing I'm R&D'ing.

In the interest of fair play and total transparency, I am calling dibs on this baby. Already pm'ed the WiredTurtle. After I die a pauper, I'll donate my body to science, the rest I'll leave to the poor.

update.. I spent some time with this today as I just took it in trade 2 days ago. It truly is a mint piece in that it looks like it came straight out of late 60s.. Now, does it function like it originally did? I'm not sure of that as I think it had its oil replaced at some point .. I actually dont know crap about these things. I went in and cleaned all the pots, put new tubes in and lubed the mechanical points that needed it. here's the demo after I got things up to par. its one of those 15 second instagram vids. https://instagram.com/p/2ohNrFjO-f/?taken-by=thenocturnebrain

Wow, Tavo. Please fly this unit to Copenhagen right away! Talk about mint condition. Someone is going to be happy with this unit. Good Luck.

I'm rescinding my dibs on this unit. Sorry to all interested parties, I got caught up in the heat of the moment.
I am as lame as this song.

This guy Arne (keyboard player exraordinaire) in Central Jersey is a collector of these units. I'll try to contact him.
