Thanks Trace, you'll have to ask Jamie about that. —The Squares - 1995-2002 |

Excellent! I really love these retrospective videos for those poor dopes like myself who could not be there. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

I'm very pleased and honored that The Revomatics will be coming all the way down from Milwaukee to play our next Stomp in two weeks! The Squares - 1995-2002 |

I tell you, The Revomatics were a class act and I love the direction in which they are going, pushing some boundaries for sure. Pick up their new CD "We Come In Peace" here, I HIGHLY recommend it! Up next, we'll journey to the stars with North Carolina's The Out Of Limits. The Squares - 1995-2002 |

Hit the nail on the head Chad. While DD was the primary reason I went last year, having never seen him live (check that box), I was actually most impressed by these guys. I get an overdose in August when some fly-by-night band called Madeira joins 'em on the boat cruise. And love the 'creature' test pattern. Awesome art as usual. —Wes DISCLAIMER: The above is opinion/suggestion only & should not be used for mission planning/navigation, tweaking of instruments, beverage selection, or wardrobe choices. |

I apologize for the tardiness on the highlight videos but it's been quite active for those involved (although there's nothing new there) so without further ado, here's May's Southern Surf Stomp video with Kinky Waikiki, The MysTiki Men?, and The Barrow Boys. We're hoping to have June's video up by the end of the week. I am forever grateful to Jamie Galatas (MadScientist) and all of the work he puts in to making these wonderful videos. —The Squares - 1995-2002 Last edited: Jul 05, 2015 18:19:39 |

Lap steel and Pedal Steel at the Stomp in one night? Pretty cool! Was that you or Richard playing Lap? Cheers, http://www.facebook.com/CrazyAcesMusic |

I'd LOVE to hear what Crazy Aces could do with a pedal steel. —The Squares - 1995-2002 |

Ditto! I'm even thinkin' some overdriven licks ala David Lindley in the Aces' style wouldn't be ruled out. —Wes DISCLAIMER: The above is opinion/suggestion only & should not be used for mission planning/navigation, tweaking of instruments, beverage selection, or wardrobe choices. |

Show was great last night. The Surge was fantastic. Don't let Eddie fool you about his guitar skills. The Out of Limits had a great Sci Fi surf vibe. |

Thank you for the kind words Mike. I'm glad that you were able to join us for the fun. And yes, kudos for Chad he really is the driving force that makes it all happen. Monthly Surf Stomp shows, Stomp Fest in September his dedication is astounding. I can't wait for The Monterrey's next month! Is it August yet? ed —Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps? |

Mike, it was really great to meet you. Thanks for coming and glad to hear you'll be back. Jeff, you really did miss out. Luckily, we recorded the whole show (it actually sounds pretty damn good) and will be broadcasting on Southern Surf Radio Wednesday at 8pm EDT. We had a great crowd with over 60 people in attendance. The Surge killed it as always and I think sold all their remaining CDs, although I did manage to snag a few copies which you can pick up over at our store or image. The Backyardbirds featured Frank from The Surge and they really kicked ass with their mix of British blues, RNB, and rock 'n' roll and were a nice addition to the Stomp as our 'turf' portion of the evening. The Out of Limits were in top form and I think it's the best I've heard them sound and play. I still view these guys as a 'young' band but you wouldn't know it from their writing and arrangements and I expect an exponential amount of growth in the next year or so. Up next month...
