Hi there,
I discovered here in my shelf three real cool surf music compilations from 1994, Surf Guitars Rumble, Vol.1, 2 and 3. Released by "Surf" in Germany. ???
I thought there was already a thread here about those CDs!? ( I searched for it but didnt found something...)
I write because of the wrong order of the songs/bands on the back covers.
I guess on Vol. 2 the order is correct?
On Vol. 1 I can hear "Midnight Run" but there stands "Inertia" by The Hustlers at point 6... and no Midnight Run on the cover at all...
This is really bad...
Is there already a correction somewhere?

It is surprising that there is no mention of these, isn't it? So much great first-wave material, and still fairly easily available on eBay. The track listing errors on Volumes 1 and 3 have always been incredibly annoying!
On Vol. 3, only "Mogul Monster" and "The Breeze And I" are switched. And here is the corrected list for Vol. 1:

Technically isn't it called "Surf Guitar Rumble" (singular)? Maybe update the thread title for future searching. I see a scant few mentions of this in the archives.

So I'm only 5 years or so behind the times with this post, but since I recently picked up "Vol.1" I thought I'd add to this.
I too noticed right off the bat something was wrong. My search for the correct track listing took me to "Reverb Central"... a site I still routinely visit. Phil had some interesting things to say about this 3-CD set. Here's the link:
