Permalink Real Book or Fake Book for Surf

Hi
Does anybody know of a good book that has surf classics laid out like a fake book...one page per tune withe melody written out in standard notation?

Thanks

Hi 14,
I don't think the animal you are looking for exists. I have beachcombed the web and other sources, and I have found nothing substantial. Nothing worth mentioning that is. You kind of have to piecemeal your way with the Hal Leonard-type books. Dick Dale has one too, but I'm sure they are all his songs. The cold hard truth is that there is no surf bible, at least none that I could find. If you find one let me know.

Welcome to SG101! Cool

If you're just getting interested or starting out, this isn't a bad place to start. Lots of classics; and there's always pause & rewind.
