Es una palabra en idioma gallego, similar al portugués. Significa murciélago.

Es una banda buenísima, yo apenas los conocía pero entre CDs, LPs y 7" ya van por su cuarto trabajo y en esto del sonido tipo western o similar, son de lo mejor de España. La pena es que son de una ciudad fronteriza con Portugal en el extremo norte de España y eso les perjudica a la hora de moverse fuera de su región (Galicia) donde sí son muy respetados

We talk about the meaning of "Morcegos"
Santos Morcegos band. It is a Galician word meaning bat ("murciélago" in Spanish)
Emilio thought it meant horse.
And I say that this band is very good. I just met but it takes at least five years. Sound western of the best in Spain in this style
