Sadly I'm not going to be able to come up for this.

Am I supposed to be somewhere on Friday!?!?!?!?

Killing me not to go, but I'm sick and broke.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Don't worry Jeff, you'll have plenty enough surf music this year to keep you happy

Go now!

Great show at Forbidden Island last night. The Insect Surfers ( with Martyn Jones from The Mermen on drums) sounded great and Forbidden Island is 7 blocks from my house.

Warm thanks to everyone that put in the effort to make it out to any of the shows last weekend! We had a blast and are extremely grateful for the usual Bay Area kindness and hospitality!

Very special kudos to Eric Penna of The Trabants for doing an incredible job on guitar and of course, our resident Nor Cal drummer, the amazing Martyn Jones, for poundin' the skins! What an honor to play with such stellar musicians!

Extra thanks to all of the organizers that made it happen: Michael Thanos and Tanoa at Forbidden Island, DJ Sid Presley, CJ at Winters Tavern, Pier 23, and of course, Cousin Mary, KFJC and Surf Cinema for hosting Sunday at Homestead Bowl.

And even more props to those that went the extra distance: Alf and his wife for their dedication, Bob and Tim of the Pyros for sticking it out till the bitter end at Winters, Danny Snyder for braving the tourists at Pier 23, Cousin Mary for doing what you do, and Surf Cinema for extra work and providing the backline on Sunday! You rock! Cheers
