Another First Wave surf guitar player done gone.

Way back in March of 1962 my Majestics cut our first record in the Inland Empire (San Berdoo) and sometime in the winter of 62 while playing at a Battle Of The Bands down in Santa Ana at some dingy American Legion Hall, while in the head I heard one of the bands play a tune with a bitchin' glassando. It was the Chantays.

A few months later my Majestics, then The Original Showmen gathered enough dollars (we were in high school) to cut our third record and it was Pipeline, which we still play at every one of our gigs.

Since we are more a River Rat band (Colorado River) than surfers, our style was a lot different, and remains so to today, but, I gotta thank Carman and Brian for giving us Majestics the chance to cut a bitchin tune which you can hear on the link below.

This was very nice. Thanks, Brian.
