One in Palm Bay Florida on C.L. (Black - listed for $325) I had a chance to pick up a black one on ebay a few weeks ago and have been kicking myself since for not going after it harder. It was in semi-rough shape but I think it went for $240. An SGV 800 in pretty good shape in blue sold around here for $300 or so and again I was kicking myself for holding off (I had just started looking at them), so I recently picked up a blue EGV for $200 to hold over my GAS. It's in decent shape but has some cracking in the finish and a little belt rash. I'd really like to find a yellow 300. One sold on Reverb recently but it looked like ... At this point in the post I decided to try to search reverb to see what it sold for, came across a new one recently listed, and bought it , for $509, shipped with hard case. Probably paid too much, but it looks like it's in great shape. I don't need it, just love the way these look and sound. I'll try to post pics when I get it. So now I have a blue EGV that I need to sell, along with a few other items, . Good luck. That black one in Florida looks like a great deal if you can work out shipping or whatever with the seller, it's been on there for a couple weeks, so he might be willing to deal. Top

I would totally buy that black one in Florida but dealing over Craigslist with shipping is a little shady to me, plus I'd like a stock trem arm if possible. Small dent in the finish in one spot, the input jack was completely loose, but tightened up easy enough. The pickup selector switch is loose and appears on the verge of failing, so if anybody can point me to the right replacement switch (seems like I read somewhere that they are smaller than normal and the routing won't allow normal sized switches?) that would be much appreciated. I'd post photos, but why bother, I think the sellers pics posted above would be as good or better. He's sending the trem arm separately now. All in all I'm very happy. I love the color in person, not sure what they called it, looks like it should be called "lemon-butter" to me. Now I just need to find time to play. Top

I know in the USA the prices are lower. Here in Europe a SGV 300 is about 400 up to 650 Euros. At ebay. 600 Euros is about 650 US dollars these days... If you find on at ebay and think the price is too high, write to the seller and ask for a lower price. I did this a few times with positive results. have fun! — Twang cheers! I expect you can order it in for pickup at your local Guitar Center store. More costly choices: Reverb.com shows 3 different SGV300 guitars under $600 today, and one is $525 + shipping.
