I thought it was a nice article, for people who don't play surf themselves and want to give it a try. And it is the first article I read on surfguitar that not even mentioned Dick Dale once. All though he talks about Man Or Astromen in the last segment. He did research certain technical aspects, but failed a bit in the musical context part. A list of historical and contemporary acts would be nice for the audience he wrote it for, beginning surf guitarists or otherwice surf interested musicians. And like you said it is not bad publicity overall www.alohasluts.com |
