So, Nick Lowe is playing in town tonight. As much as I like him, it wasn't quite enough for me to try to get a sitter. But as it turns out, his guests are Los Straitjackets! The combo would have been enough to get me to make arrangements to go. Pity none of the ads said who the guests were until this week. Anyway, the local paper says LS are Surf Rock, so they must be. Capitalized and everything! |

Mucho professional no matter what they do. Get the sitter & have a good time. Playing at the Barrymore. And I'd get the sitter in a minute if it would actually happen. But it won't. Don't know about the High Noon, but I do have an in at the Knuckledown (owner was my roommate for about 8 years). |
