Listening now. Very nice so far!

The Strat could use some more mids for my taste, but the playing is great and I really like the songs.

To anybody who might have missed it: The band's first EP 'Mediterrani Beat Guitars' is still available for free. It's leaning a bit more to the european side for the melodies and sound, but the rhythm section keeps it straight traditional surf for most of the time. Check it out:

I also want to mention that Els A-Phonics (who are closely connected with the Surf-o-Rama-Festival in Valencia) have recently released a full album consisting of collaborations with people who played with them during the last years, properly titeled "Els A-Phonics and Friends". It features such high hold names as Nokie Edwards, John Blair, Mike Barbwire, Deke Dickerson and Johnny Bartlett. Unforntunately I only heard bits of it so far, but these sounded great. Go Els A-Phonics! Smile
