The Strat could use some more mids for my taste, but the playing is great and I really like the songs. To anybody who might have missed it: The band's first EP 'Mediterrani Beat Guitars' is still available for free. It's leaning a bit more to the european side for the melodies and sound, but the rhythm section keeps it straight traditional surf for most of the time. It features such high hold names as Nokie Edwards, John Blair, Mike Barbwire, Deke Dickerson and Johnny Bartlett. Unforntunately I only heard bits of it so far, but these sounded great.
