I'm in a band, just not a surf band. I would consider my guitar playing influenced by surf, however. |

I don't yet have a band, but that's not gonna stop me from (in the near future) starting to lay down guitar and bass tracks, toward fully realizing several of my surf guitar originals that I'm itching to record...two of them I've noodled with for 15 years, now, so it's about time I start committing some things to plastic. So far, drums will be my biggest challenge, and I probably won't know "till I get there" what I'm going to do about drum tracks for my recordings. Once I'm to the point of burning things to CD, I'll let y'all know what "band" name I ultimately chose, as I've got several in consideration, although quite a few of them might make for better song titles, than a band name. Hey, Jet. Cool! Yeah, I think it's gonna be a good night. The Cocktail Preachers were GREAT last time we played together and you know anything Ivan does will be good. We're looking forward to it, too. — |
