Permalink FS/FT: Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster Pickups (2012) $100 or trade EP/RC Boost

New Topic

I have a 2012 year, Fender American Vintage (Pure Vintage) '52 Pickup Set.

$100 pickup w/shipping or trade for Xotic EP Boost or Xotic RC Boost

Very clear and clean sounding pick ups. Neck is articulate while bridge has nice mids. These can be clean and clear or push them a bit to grind. This is fenders best replication of 1952 pick ups.

Bridge 6.75k
Neck 7.25k

Fender Demo of the pickups: Fender Demo

Original Vintage Fender Tele® pickups provide extremely accurate 1950s Tele twang, with the classic warmth and edge that players have prized in the Telecaster for more than 60 years.

Tonal Characteristics

Enamel-coated magnet wire delivers warm vintage-style tones
Tin-plated copper base plate livens up tone with added bite
Flush-mount polepieces produce even string response
Alnico 3 magnets produce sweetly prominent midrange with tight, focused bass

Product Details

Period-correct cloth output wire and fiber bobbin construction
Available with black bridge-pickup cover and nickel neck-pickup cover

How are these in comparison to Broadcaster bridge and twisted tele neck pickups?

I personally don't know how the newer American (Pure) Vintage '52 tele pickups compare to Broadcaster/twisted tele neck. The '52's are vociced after a 52 blackgard tele, that fender video is a pretty good representation of how they sound.
