As this is also my first post, I'd like to say hi to the whole community!
I've been practicing music for four years now (mostly on the pc, rarely play instruments), and recently I got into surf rock so I gave it a shot and recorded a song with a friend of mine. Despite us not being guitarists at all, we didn't let that spoil our fun and this is the result:

Hey, welcome to SG101!!!
Your song sounds very cool. Simple surf melody with a spooky touch.
And, yes, I can hear the fun in your music! This is good!
Another good thing: You are right with the length of the song. It would be totally senseless to do it any second longer.
More!
Go Go!!!
— Twang cheers!

Greetings All! I'm also new to surf, and to electric guitar, really. I picked up two craigslist specials; a Squire Classic Vibe Telecaster, and Peavey Revolution 112 (red stripe) amp. Does anyone have suggestions for amp settings. Of course I have the reverb cranked, but the rest of the settings are a crap shoot at this point in my game. Many thanks for your support.

Welcome to sg101, Sonoma7! I know it can be done. Maybe some of the Tele players here can tell you how they do it.
