More bug fixing from me. Apparently if you added a band with an "exotic" name (using letters with accents, etc.) the website would give a 500 internal error. This is fixed now.
I'm sorry, I did not know how it worked. That was not my intention. Now I can't erase my addictions

No Carlos you are fine. You just found the bug. Thanks for adding so many bands.
I started adding the bands from Surfin' Guitars.

I'm so stoked so many people are adding bands to the surf band map. Some of the bands I've never heard of before. But please:
1) Don't email me with a list of bands, please add them yourself using the form! It's much faster to build the map if we crowd source it rather than let me be the bottle neck.
2) Please be more specific (if you can) than city, state. Every time someone adds a band with just a city and state I have to check if that city is already claimed, and if so I manually fudge the latitude / longitude so the map pins don't stack on top of each other.
THANKS!!!!

I guess I'll have to make the warning on the "add" screen more prominent. Please try to be more specific than city, state. If I let all bands from Portland, Oregon, for example, go through unedited, all the map pins would be in the same exact latitude and longitude and it would look on first glance like there is only 1 band there.
Also please check to see if your band is already added. Use the drop down list to scan through all the bands. And if your band starts with "Los" or "The" you'll have to scan through all those in the list. I guess I could try to stem the band names and sort them.

I apologize for the Alaska bands. We both are located in Anchorage, and all in all, our respective headquarters are less then 10 miles away from each other. So even with a bit more spread, it'll still be two pin points on top of one another in the zoomed out view of the map.
