Burt Rocket - Savage Iceland CD (Order Now!)
Double Crown scours the world ceaselessly looking for the finest surf and instrumental rock talent this planet has to offer. This time our ears took us to Iceland for the powerful, reverb drenched sounds of Burt Rocket. Although not a household name yet, I promise this disc will be one of the most discussed surf releases of 2009, and the word will continue to spread into 2010. Through experience with bands like The Rockets, The Tremolo Wankers and The Mobsmen, Burt Rocket delivers amazing guitar sounds, spellbinding songwriting, and simply songs that youll continue to listen to over and over again. You can hear some of the songs on the Burt Rocket MySpace page.

This CD was recently featured on Spanish National Radio - you can hear the show (and even download it), here:

This album is totally underrated and has kinda gotten lost in the shuffle. Pull it off the shelf and give it another spin or grab a copy from Double Crown. You'll be stoked!

I agree. This one has been on regular rotation for me since it came out several years ago. It is a really well written, played and recorded release. It is also a perfect length (just over 30 minutes) I hope he releases another one someday.
