Dear all,
I am glad to inform you that as of October 11th / 12th we will have two new dj's on NSSR.
Unfortunately the same weekend one of our long time dj's will be leaving us as well. With pain in our hearts we will have to say goodbye to Fernando Pardo. His band activities and current new job do no longer allow him to do a weekly show on NSSR. Today's show starting in a couple of minutes will be his last regular show. I would like to thank Fernando for his amazing contribution to the station and know he will always support NSSR any way he can.
His show will be replaced by our good Spanish friend Carlos Yela from Surf Music Madrid, a great guy that has been around and supporting the surf music scene for years.
Secondly I have the honour to share with you the news that our good friend Jeff Big Tiki Dude will be doing a weekly show called Tube City. Another great guy with an amazing passion for surf music. His show will air after The Fantastic Four every Sunday.
Please join me in thanking Fernando for his great shows and congratulating Carlos and Jeff with their addition to our dj team.
Here's to the future of NSSR...cheers!

I'm sad to hear that Fernando is leaving.
Always doing great shows on NSSR.
I am stoked and honored to be joining the
Illustrious roster of DJs on NSSR.
Thanks for the opportunity Niels!

So bad that Fernando is leaving, his knowledge about music history made his show one of my favorites.
Carlos also got that factor by his side, I know he wanted to work with NSSR since the beginning and now that the opportunity has come I'm sure he is gonna make a terrific show full of cool tracks and comments.
Mr. BTD is gonna delight us with his deep voice, so glad he is having his own show so he can share with us all kind of good surfing stuff . Maybe some humor and Spanish lessons to catch some ladies.
So stoked about this new era in NSSR!

Thanks for the congratulations. For me it is a pleasure to debut the same week as Jeff. And an honor to share a radio program with the best DJs of surf music. I can say that I have already selected the tracks for the first program. New Spanish and international releases, a little "power surf", a little instrumental in Spain and more ....

Enjoying the first show by Carlos right now while on tour with The Phantom Four in Spain. Saw Carlos yesterday in Madrid and now we are in Valencia playing with A-Phonics tonight. Such a small surf world. Great job Carlos, perfect music choices and smooth presentation so far!

Yeah, thanks Carlos, that was a great show!
And you promised me yesterday the second will be much better.
I can't wait.
Fernando will be missed but your show is a worthy replacement.
Cheers,

Thanx Niels!
Before beginning I was very nervous, but when I saw it had good sound, from the third track was very excited home.
For the next program I return to the 60s Classic ... but not as well known
