Congrats, Jeff and Crazy Aces. A great review and well deserved. It's not secret this is one of my favorite releases this year.

The Squares - 1995-2002
The Mystery Men? - 2012-
MOONBASE - 2012-2017
The KBK - 2017-2022
The Frigidaires 2021-
Southern Surf Stomp!

Congrats! I too enjoyed this album and this review reminds me I should go listen to it some more. Have to agree with "it's all very 60's".

Pipeline is still going, which amazes me. It was an amazing resource back in the day(and still is), what would we have to do to get them to be a part of our community? Obviously an incredibly important, knowledgable, and influential resource.

I think one or two of the guys behind Pipeline are members here but they post very rarely.

Yeah, Alan Taylor is "PipelineMagazine" and hasn't logged in since Feb. of this year.

We're still here folks!
I really enjoy the site, especially picking up on new bands and new releases.

Excellent and well deserved review. It is one of my fave CDs in a while. Highly recommended!

I concur. It's been a mainstay in the car lately (as I am too lazy to load everything into iTunes). It is indeed "very 60's" but also in some ways a departure from a lot of the instro I normally listen to, which is good. In this regard the material is similar to(though not really like) The Concussions for me...it's in the same ballpark, but different ends of the field.

Thanks Chad, Brian, Rev and Richard.
We really appreciate your kind words.
The band has been scattered (other gigs, jobs)and unavailable to gig to support the new record so this review and your comments mean a lot to me.

Cheers,
Jeff
