Hey everyone, my band The Del-Vipers from Austin, TX will be releasing our debut LP next Tuesday. Here's a track off it, hope you enjoy!
"The Del-Vipers are pleased to announce the long-awaited release of our debut album, “Terror of the Del-Vipers”, available digitally next Tuesday the 26th via our Bandcamp page!
For fans of raunchy, reverb-soaked instrumental surf rock n’ roll with enough grease and Godzilla to send you running for the beach… check out the video for “The Sonic Deterrent” below or Scissors Jaguar will chop ya to bits!!!"

I picked up the album. Very cool!
Tell us more about your band. What part of Texas are you guys from? What is your surf gear of choice? What are your goals/plans for the band and do you tour at all? Why is Scissors Jaguar so angry? etc...

Hey josheboy...
The Del-Vipers are from Austin, Texas and are FANTASTIC! My band has been lucky enough to support them on a couple of shows and they have just been awesome. Ross or Rossmosis is a prince of a guy and a talented guitar player and song writer. I have no doubt that their plan or goal is for complete world domination...which is why Scissors Jaguar is so upset.

Listened to this twice now and I love it. Great energy, sounds like y'all were having fun, and it sounds like it would be killer live.

Thanks Ernest! I could definitely say the same about you...
Yeah we've been playing around Austin for a few years, the occasional drag race in San Antonio. We all come from touring backgrounds but haven't really made it to that point with this band... more of a niche project to have fun with. I run a Jag through a Vibroverb RI live these days, bass goes through an Excelsior which is cool and kinda unique... you'd actually be surprised how much Excelsior is on this record. I'm a big fan of the stock buzzy speaker that everyone seems to hate. Anyway, thanks for the kind words friends!
PS: Scissors Jaguar is angry cos he has damn scissors for hands and nobody loves him.

Man y'all are fun! I'm looking for a couple bands to play a show with a few times a year. If y'all need an opener let us know! I would love to open for y'all! We are a Surf band in South Austin called the Texas Sharks.
