Mary, I am surprised the KFJC Reviews page does not have a "Surf" category given all the surf reviews you've done, and since you review much more than just surf... would be nice to have them together. I'll come out there and do it if you want.

I hear that there was quite a controversy about putting reviews on the web. KFJC DJs basically write them so that they fit on a sticker to be placed on the CD or LP for the on-air DJ to use to make quick decisions about what to play. I have had artists complain about my reviews being short!
We do not file Surf separately at KFJC - interestingly it is not considered a specialty genre even though I do a specialty hour of surf.
Our reviews can be searched by DJ or you can search for a word such as "surf". That way you will see surf reviews from other DJs.
