As the Surfguitar101 wiki describes it: "The correct PN for a Fender replacement outboard reverb pan meant to hang vertically, as opposed to one lying horizontal in the bottom of a combo amp, is PN 4AB3C1C" The impedances should be 8ohm-in + 2250ohm-out. The PN for horizontal placement is:4AB3C1B Maybe somebody here knows if it matters which side is up for horizontal placement?? Top

Any truth to that? I also think I want a medium length reverb tank. I get a nice drip from my Twin with the return going into the normal channel but to much dwell that I can't control. I was hoping to to build this to fire the reverb hard for drip but not have the cave like dwell. I believe someone posted that the middle digit in the part# ought to be lower – a 1 or 2 rather than 3 – to help achieve short reverb sustain. The Dwell knob on a reverb circuit controls input to the transducer driving the coil, right? Since I got my Twin BF'd and reverted to original specs (was a miracle it functioned at all previously with all the wack mods) I now have the Reverb Return going into the Normal Channel input for more Drip but as Stratdancer says, the long reverb sustain is overpowering. — Squink Out! ludobag Joined: Jun 05, 2010 Posts: 620 at south of	Posted on Jul 12 2014 10:47 AM tested and approuved then first my 12 v power supply sucks lot of hum cause it isn't regulated then i try with my ibanez power supply for 9v effect who is regulated it works ,but before i need to invert the pan ? the red on the white of my deluxe pan ?like the mod or tad on real tank on the pan it is writen input white then i send the input signal of the fet reverb in and in fact for working need to invert the pan ??(fender invert the sens of pan ?) all my pot are invert they descrease when i go up ? maybe wrong wiring then need to invert the 2 wires or invert the writing (more simple) need a good power supply ,a tad pan and to make a nice cab for all of this but you can go it sound and it is not harsh as i famous effect!really near the real deal to my taste edith i find another 12 v power supply and it works even better need to make a nice box for it also put a toggle Last edited: Jul 12, 2014 13:53:34 Top

I was wondering if it would work just as good with the pan horizontally upside down... I am trying to find a way of building a real compact cabinet. Top

I have a Fulldrive FDII (1st version) and a Rangemaster clone. One of those might make it sound more awesome... I dont want to hijack this thread so if I am someone let me know...... I imagine that the metal enclodure is just for the circuit board? Is there a need to line the entire box like the cavity on a guitar? I have never seen the inside of a reverb unit........ — I am not obsolete, I am RETRO.... Top
