One major finish chip (pictured) and a slight finish crack by the neck pocket, but otherwise in very good shape. Serial number says it's a 95. All Parts mint guard, AV series pickup in the bridge, Seymour Duncan SJAG-1 in the neck. Asking $650 shipped in the continental US. No gig bag.

The only "Made in Japan" CAR Jags I've seen without matching headstocks were the early ones from the '80s. There were a bunch of the "crafted" ones, though. That's a nice guitar and a nice price!

Yeah, I've noticed that almost every single one of them has a matching headstock, but this one says "Made In Japan" and has an S... serial number.

Thanks, guys. I should also add that I had it professionally set up by a local guy with D'Addario 11's. It has the stock bridge and a very slight shim. After a few tweaks I can play it as hard as any of my other guitars and the strings don't jump the saddles; no Mustang bridge or Buzz Stop necessary.

Whoever buys it should put a bird on it! That'd make it even better!

Squab! Winged rats if you ask me.
Btw, yes, that is a very good price for the Jag. I paid $700 for my MIJ JM several years ago with no case or bag.
