Hopefully this hasn't been covered already. I did try to do a search and it didn't come up so hopefully I don't get yelled at for starting this thread. Anyway, I found this Fetverb reverb unit which is supposed to be a G-15 clone and the guy that makes them. Anybody know anything about this circuit?

It sounds pretty good, the drippy parts sounded tighter, which is good. But the chords didn't sound as good on that unit. There are my thoughts from the samples on the site.
Worth the $68 + tank, in my opinion.

That's what I was thinking. The guy makes them in Sweden and can ship it to my house here in the states for about 85 bucks total. Seems like a bargain.

I'm on my phone right now so I can't post links. Check out the thread for best faux reverb. There is a little more info there. Also the maker of the Surfy Bear is a forum member.

(Thought I posted this already but must've not pulled the trigger.)
Nice that the maker gives a hat-tip to this Site's Reverb Wiki on this page here.

Thanks, I typed in the search of faux reverb and found this thread. I tried a search for "surfy bear", "fet reverb" and that link never came up. I've never had good luck with the search engine on this site.

Just wondering if Bjorn took his reverb unit to the Surfer Joe Festival this year, he thanked Lorenzo for his help in another thread here so I'm guessing he might of demonstrated it. I'm curious of people's reaction and hope it went well.

FWIW - I ordered one of these from Bjorn. I was intrigued by the other thread and have been looking for (yet) another alternative to my tank. The sound samples sounded decent, I've have spare pans laying around and I like easy DIY electronic projects. Bjorn was easy to deal with, communicated well and shipped fast. Now I'm just waiting for inspiration to strike to complete the darn thing.

Bjorn was fantastic to deal with! Sent me the kit right away. Very nice and responsive. The circuit looks great and seems like an easy project.
Not plugged in yet, in the ugliest temporary chassis, waiting for a MOD pan and some parts. I have some far reaching ideas for the enclosure though...

Looking forward to placing the order for this. Here's the cabinet it's going in. 20 US dollars for the tool box. I'm going to order a Revisit pan here in the States. I'd like a Tad but not available here.

* Vintage steel tool box - $20 (norwalk)
Go vintage. I'm sure Akron has lots of rusty tool boxes selling...

Everything is old and rusty here. To maintain the heritage of my birth city I should have an old rusty cab. Nothing says surf from the midwest like rusty looking stuff on stage. lol!

The MOD pans available in the US are the same as Tube Amp Doctor's rebranded TAD pans.

Awesome to see all the posts about my little project !
A lot of creative minds in work
Yes, I took my prototype to the Surfer Joe festival.
Lorenzo was enthusiastic, but it was a busy weekend and unfortunately we had no opportunity to test reverb units.
But it was a fantastic festival anyway! First time for me.
Ludobag, I am looking forward to see your reverb cabinet!
(I know you are a very good guitar builder)
