That would be great.

I ended up having 2 chicken pot pies.

Coworkers say smash burger is good. Gonna try it soon.
Only 3 locations in OC: Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo & San Clemente.

"Our handcrafted burgers are smashed, seared and seasoned to order".
I hope this means they don't sit on it & rub it between their thighs.

My cousin just told me about the Newport (OR) Cafe up the coast that serves a huge hamburger. I'm more a veggie burger guy (or trying to be), but I have to check this one out!

"Super Ultimate Monster Burger, 6 lb. Burger Topped with grilled onions, Ham, Fried egg Topped off with Cheddar cheese on a 10 inch homemade bun."

It even comes complete with its own local amateur-type commercial:

I'm sure I read somewhere you should never eat anything bigger than your head. Yes

Finally tried smash burger yesterday for lunch with a coworker.
San Clemente, on Pico, just east of the 5.

The burger is wet & dripping ( yumm ).
It's extremely well seasoned & VERY tasty.
It's my new fave burger, better than TK.

Coworker said the chicken sandwiches are just as good.
Didn't try the fries or the haystack onions, but they looked good.
One wet & dripping food item per meal is my limit.

8 oz. (precooked) homemade bacon-wrapped bacon, onion, and pepper burgers coated with maple syrup, next to bourbon-barbecue chicken breasts. Yes, the burgers are bigger than the chicken breasts! Grilled to juicy, caramelized perfection on my infrared grill.

I ate at Milo's today. It is a long-time staple of the Birmingham, Alabama area. If they had to depend on the meat alone then they would leave much to be desired. But the 'secret sauce' is the selling point. Messy as hell and delicious...Surprisingly, that isn't BBQ sauce. It is difficult to describe, but falls more under a gravy.

The Fat fish pub Galesburg Il. has a Bloody Mary burger that's awesome, no vodka just the drink mix in the burger. I'll need to go back to take a picture. They have some good music there too.

Hahaha. Being originally from Pittsburgh (Hi, Jason!) I should have poured Iron City Beer over them. Big Grin But as children were going to eat some of them, I kept basting them with maple syrup, which tasted spectacular with the bacon, by the way.

My go-to beer for basting everything is Guinness Stout. Makes a terrific marinade and stew stock, too. What can I say? I have international tastes.

Speaking of marinade, do they sell this out where you live?

WOW Noel,
I have always felt I was good chef, but those burgers look and sound flipp'n fantastic! I WILL be doing those. Is that infrared grill worth the admission price? Have you ever seen a turtle burger? Its a burger with hot dogs for legs, head, tail basket weaved in bacon. Not really for the faint of heart.

EJ, the CharBroil Infrared grill was only $50 more than their same capacity ordinary propane grill. I can't remember if that was a sale price. It is, by a significantly wide margin, the best grill I've ever used. There's a short learning curve to get used to it, but I'm not going back. In fact, last night I suggested we get a second one. The grill was a little crowded for flipping meat with ten monster burgers and ten chicken breasts. And propane tanks seem to last a lot longer than they used to; I guess it uses less gas per BTU than ordinary grills.

Of course, I would also like a 2 X 3 foot griddle for those big breakfasts, too. I'd love to live someplace where I could have a 12-month outdoor kitchen. Big Grin

Oh, yeah, turtle burgers! Yummy.

And I was just told pub-burgers are on the menu tonight. I'm grilling again.
