Wow, what a find!! This is the original lineup, which recorded the debut album, Surfside Village, the Intruder EP, and the Surface Impressions album. This is a different mix of the song than the one on the Surfside Village album - I think the mix that came out on the single (and later on the best-of). —Ivan |

Cool. Shigeo plays a Fender Vibroverb in the vid? The SGV of Shigeo looks like an own created one with Fender trem unit. The yellow Yamaha banana bass is also really rare! Great song. —Twang cheers! Ralf Kilauea |

Shigeo replaced everybody in the band starting with the album Surfdelic, but the band was STILL a 4-piece, as it was on their following, self-titled album. And even that didn't stick, as they later recorded two more albums as a four-piece, but this time with a organ player rather than a rhythm guitar. Started to redouble my efforts in learning Japanese Lately. Backtracking some of these Surfcoaster Albums on CD have been quite a task. |
