Something like this would make a great footswitch enclosure in keeping with the toolbox theme —Old punks never die... They just become surf rockers. |

That was the first thing that came to mind after I saw the tool box tank. Just need to find an ammo can long enough. Would be cool to have old knobs from a military radio. |

it has to be 18" long inside to fit the tank. — |

if you can replace a selector switch in a strat, you can build this reverb. |

Hey Don - From my readings, it is generally accepted that the only thing like an original is...an original. I have read about some folks finding old Gibbs pans and then it is just a matter of them being is operable condition. For the new pans out there, there seems to be a consensus that any one of them represents some kind of sonic compromise. This thread may be of some interest to you... Please send me STP & Mooneyes stickers. I've been rocking a toolbox SB FET Reverb for over a year now without them and it's just not happening for me yet. caddady wrote: — |

Oh yeah! My dad was a car dealer and as a kid I had all those speed shop stickers. We even went to the Fremont Dragstrip and saw DOn Garlits and that other guy drag at 240mph. I totally miss that 70s greaser scene. |
