For George Boccanfuso, who's surfing his endless summer. I can't thank everyone who played this enough. From left to right, they are David Arnson, Carol Busbey, Johnny Kahuna, Phred Rawles, Crispy Bess, Eddie Katcher, Jonpaul Balak, Eddie Katcher, Don Schott, and Sandy Rosado who took center on flute and made the moment transcendent. Thanks to you all!

And, thanks Dirk, for filming and posting it.

I'm glad this was posted. I have video of the tribute but won't have time to get it together to post for a few days at least and it was a touching moment that should be shared.

Well done, Noel!!!!! Thumbs Up What a great song, and such a cool band - way, WAY underrated! Gary is a fantastic guitarist, too!

Noel, very nice story behind this whole video (in the other thread), too. It sounds like a truly special experience - and you deserved it after all your enthusiasm and support for surf music over the past several years! So wonderful to see this, really, really cool....

Thanks so much! I got a little out of position early on (I was so nervous I could hardly stop my fingers from bouncing off the fingerboard) but overall I think it was lovely. Playing are David Arnson, Carol Busbey, Johnny Kahuna, Phred Rawles, Crispy Bess, Jonpaul Balak, Eddie Katcher, Don Schott, myself, and Sandy Rosado who took center on flute and made the moment transcendent. My deepest thanks to them all for playing such a beautiful song for George!

Just drinking it all in; thanks to all for posting. Dreams both made and honored. So cool in so many ways.

Thanks so much! I got a little out of position early on (I was so nervous I could hardly stop my fingers from bouncing off the fingerboard) but overall I think it was lovely. Playing are Dave Arndt, Carol Busbey, Johnny Kahuna, Phred Rawles, Crispy Bess, Jonpaul Balak, Eddie Katcher, Don Schott, myself, and Sandy Rosado who took center on flute and made the moment transcendent. My deepest thanks to them all for playing such a beautiful song for George!

david arnson, not arndt

I know that! Massive brain fade! I have a lot of editing to do, here and all those links on Fbook! My deepest apologies to David Arnson!
Sorry Duh Embarassed Picard Face Palm

Everything else seems alright. It started with that name substitution thing Fbook does. It's wrong on only one post and it was the one I copied for convenience instead of retyping the names here. I was lazy and just didn't notice. Serves me right, too. I can't fix the original entry, so I have to delete it and create a new one.

Thanks so much for catching it!

NIIIIIIICE!

That was a great mix overall too, super vibe. Is Kiwamu wielding that VMJM he got? Man, that thing cuts like a scalpel; love it.

Thanks Wes.
Yeah, that's Kiwamu's new/used Squier Jazzmaster.
He's loving it.
It's funny. His Squier was $150.00, Oscar's Bass was $100.00, If I had used my Blue Teisco I brought with me to The Summit Which sounds great)our collective instrument value would have been $450.00.......LOL

Quality framing hammers are nice but it's more about the hand wrapped around the handle.
