Hi All,
This is an early 60's composition of Bruce Welch, the rhythm guitar of the Shadows.
A wonderful tune that is' nt really reflected in my clipping performance (picture camera).
I still hope you like it.
Under the "VIDEOs" section of my website:
http://www.surfguitar101.com/modules.php?name=Web_Links&l_op=visit&lid=151
The guitar is the 50th Anniversary Deluxe I won 2 years ago at "Dekarr" music store in Pasadena.
Best Regards,
Abel

I like it!
Unique version with a surprisingly great number of double-stops and a beauty of a guitar.

Glad you liked it KK,
I don't know what to do about the sound.
It's funny that if I record with the camcorder (like I did in "Rock'n'Roll"), there is no clipping at all, but then the sound is hardly audible even though the guitar and the P.A. are really loud.
This time it was the picture camera. I have to find a middle way, or manage to increase the volume of the Camcorder.
Best Regards,
Abdel

I'll tell you what Abdel. The video ( the small amout) that I downloaded with my dialup connection was supurb! Your sound through my computer sounded just like the Shadows. In fact I would like to know what amps and extras you are using to get the sound.
It's strange, to see you playing this song. I have been playing this very song all day trying to get it just right.
Nice job!

Thank you all,
Joel - I use a Mex. 50 Classic strat (first time use of my 50th
Anniversary Deluxe in this tune, I want to preserve it).
- A ZoomRFX2000 (multi-effects, of which I only use the multitap
echo).
- A tiny passive box that removes the boomy lows.
- A Line6 Duoverb amp (now discontinued).
Hope this helps.

Abdel

Beautiful! I've been working on that song for a while but have failed to give so much life.
I really love your touch on the whammy bar.

Abdel - so nice! I recorded "The Savage" that night you played with Tony, Rob, and Billy! I thought about uploading it to Youtube...what do you think?

Abdel...
It took some time, but I got the whole video downloaded. I am more impressed with your playing than ever.
The thing is... The best part of the whole video ( and it was nice) was the big smile you had when you finished.
There is nothing in this world better than knowing the joy of knowing that you did a good job at something.
You did, and you knew it. That's what life is all about.

Thank you all .
Glad you liked it despite the sound.
Tikitena I don't mind you putting it on Youtube if the rest of the
guys agree and if the sound is acceptable.
Brian You asked for it. I am posting one I just expedited
tonight.
It's a privilege to be heard by your community.
Blessings,
Abel
