April Birthdays 
The band ( www.cutbacksurfband.com ) played out last Friday night, full house, great crowd....before each song we "talk story" to give the song a vision. After the first set, a real serious looking guy came up to me and said (heavey Russian accent) "I am from Russia, and have never heard this music, but I close my eyes and can see it perfectly, what you talk about"
Probably the best compliment I have ever gotten.
He later asked if I knew if there were waves on the Black sea....
