But there is one group of musicians in Eugene trying to keep the traditional surf sound of the 60's alive. We are the Men From S.U.R.F. (secret underground retro fraternity). There is a good chance The Men From S.U.R.F. will be playing a gig later this summer. Would enjoy meeting all of you. I'll put out a post on the SG 101 message board when we find out the date. Top

The Planet Crashers play shows every now and then. Wavesauce is surfy + theramin band. Satan's Pilgrims play one or two local shows most years (rumor has it they're coming back again this summer). I think we (The Apollo Four)are probably the surf band that gigs most in Portland.
