Selling my Univox Hi-Flyer project****. I bought this with the intent of finishing it in Ocean Turquoise or Lake Placid Blue as my poor man's Mosrite. However, I just landed an actual Mosrite, so this one's being sacrificed in the name of a balanced budget.
I decided to build it up while debating on color and did the following:
-- Wired it all up with full-size Alpha pots
-- Gave it a proper setup, including filing the nut slots which were almost slide-guitar high, and adding a cardstock shim (2 thickness) to get a little room on the bridge adjustment
-- Added trem arm, screws, etc. as needed
-- Sanded the body to 220 grit
Basically, this thing is completely done except for a little sanding/prep and paint. The neck on this one is the highlight for me - great vintage neck that's super slinky.
Overall it sounds awesome, and after the setup it plays really well.
