No, not yet. It is 5pm here, in the next hour or two it will come. UPS usually comes to my neighborhood late. |

Listen to how good this sounds! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0W5fgfSAAiU Lennon didn't play bass on it though, Paul overdubbed. On a Jazz bass it is believed. |

The PUs are doing fine on mine after the tech removed the foam under them so they could be lowered enough to remedy weird overtones caused by them being too close to the Labella Flats I put on it. He also removed the spring on the low E Saddle to enable intonation. Still a little buzz here and there with the bridge, but nothing that comes through the PUs. —Mike |

I suggest putting the spring back on and reversing the side that the screw goes on. Last edited: Feb 27, 2014 21:25:44 |

Not until I get it tricked out. Just a standard black Bass VI, might as well be any one. I'll get a proper picture taken then, nowhere near enough light in my apartment right now to get something decent. Probably going in tomorrow or Saturday to get started on the headstock painting. Could take a while, I always tell my buddy to make it his lowest priority. |

The low E, what a completely unacceptable gauge of string to put on one of these guitars... I don't want to play that string at all... Mine intonates unlike most. Bridge is nicer than I would have thought, still getting a Staytrem. It will look nice with the 1" plate. Should be higher quality, but this bridge is really not bad. Better than the CIJs I've had(haven't played an MIJ newer than 2005). Vibrato unit is pretty crap, on par with a CIJ. The plate is thicker though, but the actual innards feel wobbly. Arm fits in super nice and stays put. Ugly arm though... where the bend is. I'll buy a proper looking one to replae it. I'll probably replace the unit, we'll see if I get a Master for free or for cheap... Neck is super nice, on par with the CIJs which were awesome necks. I actually quite like poly necks. Gonna replace the pickup covers, the material looks weird... |

The before is just a yucky looking stock photo, I really don't like how it looks. I've always hated blocked and bound with a non-matching headstock(unless it was sunburst). White guard looks terrible... especially with the pickup cover. |

The pickups look like glow-in-the-dark plastic, don't they? The before and after pics are mandatory. It's ugly now to you, so show the ugliness next to the Jakification make-over. —Matt "tha Kat" Lentz Last edited: Feb 27, 2014 23:02:33 |

Yeah... I'll see if I can get a picture tomorrow. I require natural sunlight and my camera flashes are at work. I have a really nice camera at work... mine isn't bad... but the work camera... ooh la la. Bass VI city: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GN7acmhbuJQ |

Also, anybody know about these? They aren't AVRI...? Are they the '65 AVRI pickups? |
