I play rhythm and I'm in my 40's. Looking for lead guitarist to start new project, OR established band that needs a rhythm guitarist. If you are a bassist, drummer, sax or keyboardist and truly like surf, please let me know and I will hang on to your info. Gotta find that lead first.....

I would like to play both "wet" and "dry" styles. Be able to cover Dick Dale, The Ventures, The Surfaris etc...Pretty much the old school style, but changing it up a bit for improvement is fine. There are also several surf bands from the 80's I like. I can also lead sing, so we could also break it up with a vocal song now and then that would fit the style.

I would like to practice 1x a week to reach a goal of a gig or two a month. Oh ya, beer OK Smile

Thanks!

No beginners please. I have had many years experience with this music in the past.

Just wondering why you're not playing lead if you have "many years of experience"?

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I didn't think that this would raise a question. I should of spelled it out clearer in my ad.

Let's try again:
" I have had many years experience in playing surf music as a RHYTHM guitarist. I have never played in a band as a lead guitarist."

Maybe that will help.
