Looks like somebody got lazy with a metal lathe. I guess they're experimenting with the concept still, which is positive. (Trying to see the upside here) —He who dies with the most tubes... wins Last edited: Feb 05, 2014 14:06:27 |

Looks like the height/radius is fixed and the holes on top are intonation locking screws. Simple, I think I might like it. Last edited: Feb 05, 2014 14:27:31 |

It doesn't look like it would work better than it looks. There are still going to be string jumping out of the saddle issues. Even a mastery has saddles that lower. No reason this one won't have the same problem. |

Check this playlist for the video with the white Jazzmaster built by Dennis Galuszka - it has this bridge installed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_cxFtlxkQQ&feature=c4-overview&list=UUNY6pelsjbklezNh6hKtEcw —Paul Last edited: Feb 06, 2014 09:03:11 |

I guess the idea was to create a bridge base that looks similar to a f-hole on guitars!? And: Is this bridge with the correct radius??? BUT maybe in a few weeks everybody uses this new bridge because it feels and sounds good??? —Twang cheers! Ralf Kilauea |

I can't understand how you're supposed to adjust the intonation (from looking at the pictures) —He who dies with the most tubes... wins |

That might be to help follow the natural alignment of the saddles and reduce overall mass. It say's at the bottom of the picture that it is reversible so I'm guessing you can spin it 180 for left hand players. Last edited: Feb 08, 2014 06:18:51 |

Loosen the top grub screws and tap the saddle back or forth I'd guess. |

I think it's innovative and shows that Fender is still involved in creating solutions.........in other words, it's a good thing. http://www.facebook.com/CrazyAcesMusic |

I'd like to see how it compares to a Mastery, probably more $$$ too... BTW I am NEVER going to understand that "relic"-ing business. Rusty screws and hardware, faux dings and scratches...........

So are these like 1/2-barrelly things that are attached with sliding bolts? Or... ? —He who dies with the most tubes... wins |

... Are the grub screws attached to slotted holes in the f-holy shaped bridge thing to let the brass saddley things slide backwards and forwards to intonate? —He who dies with the most tubes... wins |

The only possible problem I see is that the slots or guides in the saddles for each string could produce sitar-ish sounds if the angle is off a bit BUT I will with hold from any judgements until I hear, see and play one. http://www.facebook.com/CrazyAcesMusic |
