Permalink SOLD Seymour Duncan SJM-1 Vintage for Jazzmaster Pickup Set

New Topic

I've been meaning to put these up for sale, but I didn't want to step on Matt22's toes... Now that his have sold, here's a set of the same ones he had for sale!

One neck and one bridge, this set is still in their unopened boxes. I've also got a set of white covers to go with them, out of the packaging but never used.

SOLD

Questions about how the Duncan Vintage pickups sound come up from time to time. They came in the Jazzmaster I bought from Ivan, and you can hear them in this exact guitar on these Space Cossacks records.

Interstellar Stomp: Black Sand, The Spy Satellite, Gunmetal Express, parts of Moroccan Adventures

Tsar Wars: Tsunami Tsurprise, The Defector, Fiesta Del Cossacapulco

I really like their sound a lot. Very balanced. Not dull and not overly bright.

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

I'd like them ...pm sent

Thanks for helping me out, Noel and Matt! I had just about given up on selling them and I was this close to trying them in a guitar... But now they're sold!

They should work well in my mex-master.

That sounds intriguing. I'm sure it will sound great. I'm playing them right now working on "Theme From The Endless Summer". They sound completely right. I wish I did. But the pickups are perfect.

I think you'll love them. Congratulations!
