The Squier VM Jag I bought was a better build than my mid 90s Fender Bass VI. I didn't touch the Jag at all. perfect out of the box.

Lovely, can't wait to hear it! How low were you able to get the action? Mine's a lot higher than I'd like, even after a shim. (The difference in gauge may also warrant a truss rod adjustment on mine, in fact I'm pretty sure of it.) — |
