Useful Tools, not Fx.. true bypass, linebuffered looper with impedance correction for Roland Space Echos and Reverb tanks to boot. (Having true bypass for a reverb tank and the line buffer, lets the guitar come through less blurred and a tad leaner in the lows, something I needed with my semi and hollowbody guitars..)
$79 ready to ship.

Is this used as an effects loop on/off switch? Is the signal chain like this? Guitar > Selzter Tonic > Reverb Unit > Seltzer Tonic > Amp?

Yes, so that you can completely remove the 'verb tank or tape echo out of the signal.. When engaged, your device also gets an active line buffer that yields some impedance correction (clearer highs) and a smidge of the bloaty lows of the tanks preamps leaned out. Not so noticeably with the plank but I dont like what happens with the tanks preamp character (stock 6G15) and my gretsch guitars in the low bass, and thus the active buffer increases clarity. Thats more a by product of simply being able to run the unit like a stomp box with true bypass. Needed for me since I use several delay pedals, boost, drives, etc.

Thanks. I really like the idea of a plug-in effects loop, especially for amps that don't have any sort of effects loop at all, like my Music Man. Seems like a great idea.
I wasn't going to buy much gear this year, but I think this is very useful.

Not to sidetrack/hijack the thread, but my experience with a non-buffered loop switch lately has not been so good. I have a Burris Amps Chaloopa I picked up at Nashville NAMM a few years ago and it's useless for bypassing either my vintage Crybaby WahWah (causes David Gilmour seagull sound), as well as for the entire chain (kills signal). I haven't tried it for my Gibson Reverb III alone yet. Can anyone explain in electronic terms what the problem is with the unbuffered looper and how I should best use it?
