Mint condition Gomez G-Spring looking for a good home with an owner
that will play with it and take it through its paces. Rare, 220V unit
with standard euro plug.
Selling because the band folded over a year ago and as I'm a bassist,
she just wasn't getting played with. THAT, is a damn shame as
she's got the purdiest drip this side of the Atlantic! Also selling
because after 13 years in Blighty I'm headed back to the US of A and
figured I'd leave her where Dario meant for her to be.
It's black and comes with the cover. Only thing missing is the foot
switch - bloody guitarist lost it!
I'm asking 450 quid/GBP + shipping for her.
Drop me a PM and we'll tawlk!

Xavi, I got a PM from another Spaniard - his hit my inbox on 3 Dec at 1908GMT. As such, I will honor a first come, first serve policy. Not interested in starting a bidding war and delving into "duche-baggery!" He also asked for some pics and postage + insurance quotes to Espana. I will send you both some pics and some postage prices + insurance and we'll take it from there.
Please note, I may not get back to you both until the weekend as I'm incredibly busy at the mo. However, I WILL get back to you.

Gent's,
As I now have 3 or 4 VERY interested buyers and I'm confident this baby is all but sold. As such, I'll take it off the Forum so as not to give false hope! To Sancho, my first buyer is almost certain to take it, and if not him, my second defo will...sorry.

One Final post on my soon to be sold G-Spring. I was getting all melancholy about selling the G-Spring and ran across this post from Jun 11, 2009 which I wrote after the band first played it.
Forgive my blatant man-crush on Dario! I hope the buyer enjoys it as much as I did!
"OH MY GAWD! We played, we heard, it ROCKS! Our lead plays a MIA Strat and our rythym guys plays a Jag. We went right for the jugular and started off with "Endless Summer!" Sounded so sweet, but then I had them switch and the lead played the Jag...oh brotha. I was staring out the sliding glass window - the sun was setting...late, as it does in the UK this time of year. It wasn't the ocean - open fields onto rolling hills, but the music and THAT SOUND had me so entranched that I missed the key change!
We played 'em all - the rythym sound on Pipeline, Diamond Head, and Baja...wow.
I had hyped the need for a tank for months and I was concerned that it had better make an impression...it did.
"Gomez G-Spring, when you absolutely, positively wanna drown every "Mike Foxtrot" in the room with reverb, except no substitutes!
Now as far as shirt's? I must have miss-typed...."

Just two words to say that I am the proud new owner of this magnific Gomez G-spring. It has arrived today. It looks great and I have compared it with my fender 63RI tank and it sounds better than great. The drip is really awesome.
I must say thank you very much to Tom. It has been a great pleasure to make this deal with him. Everything has been perfect and he has been very friedly. All the best to you Tom.
I post one picture with part of its new family. I think it is a nice rig.

Beautiful. Love those SGVs; is that a baritone? Never seen one.

Yes,... SGVs are really nice.
The red one is a SGV 800, the blue one a SGV 700 (great guitar!!!) and the dark green one is a SGV 500. The SGV 500 has a fixed bridge but it is not a baritone. SGV 500 and 700 are quite rare to find. I like their playability and their sound very much (and with the g-reverb they sound even better ).

Xavi, The pleasure was all mine. I'm so pleased that the tank has found a good home with someone who appreciates her. All the best for a Drippy New Year!
