There's a ton of posts on, or about, reverb pedals in the sacred halls of SG101...try using the "search" option up there on top. This may help: Good luck!! —The TakeOffs |

Seems like you have asked about reverb pedals before. I guess no one has given you a suggestion you like. Yes, there are a lot of discussion threads on reverb here. Almost too many to search effectively. I will quality my suggestions by noting I am not a reverb pedal expwert by any means. I play through an outboard reverb unit. I have experience with two reverb pedals. The Boss FDR-1 and the Danelectro Corned Beef. The Boss FDR-1 is supposed to sound like a Deluxe Reverb. It has vibrato and reverb. It is all right. Boss also makes the FRV-1, the pedal that is supposed to simulate the Fender outboard reverb unit. I have not played one of those, so I cannot comment on it. If money is an issue, the Danelectro Corned Beef is inexpensive. It may not sound exactly like a Fender outboard, but it is a reverb unit. For home use on a tight budget, it will get the job done. Talk to you later, |

You might want to look at this. If I didn't have a Texotica Reverb and an RV-1 for a spare, it's what I'd get. —This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got. |

Malekko recently re-released their Spring Chicken LE spring reverb pedal... Forward to 3:43 I have another amp that doesn't play well with the tank and has no reverb, so I got one of these in last week for the effects loop of that amp and it's great. Another one I've always kinda wanted is the Malekko Omicron Spring.. Last edited: Dec 15, 2013 18:10:22 |

Take a look at the Behringer RV600 Reverb Machine. It's definitely not the best reverb pedal out there, but it's probably one of the cheapest and it does a quite decent spring reverb sound with some drip. It did fulfill my reverb needs for home playing... until I bought a tank. The bonus is if you're into other musical styles, it has plenty of other types of reverb as well. —Old punks never die... Oh boy, deja-vu. I've personally tested a couple of reverb pedals and came to the conclusion that the BOSS FRV-1 and Strymon Flint come quite close to a tank. Then again, they aren't exactly cheap. |

Brian, there is no snark behind this post. The reverb/reverb pedal threads keep coming up and really are essential to this genre. While I realize this easily falls under the 'gear' catagory, perhaps a solution to the endless threads might be to actually have a separate forum catagory for 'reverb tanks and reverb pedals'? It would consolidate all of the existing threads, make browsing them easier, and perhaps even limit future threads. —THE KBK ... This is the last known signal. We offer Sanctuary. www.thekbk.com |

+1, or maybe just a sticky will help. Something like 'All you ever wanted to know about reverb pedals and tanks'. — |

Cheapest reverb I've ever tried was a big empty room. Sadly, we were playing a gig in it at the time — |

The Digitech reverb pedal is about $100 new, does spring and some other types of 'verb and has a metal casing. Enjoying the surf, sun and sand!! |

The lonely road traced by those who would follow the muse often takes them through desolate spaces. But then natural hall reverb is hard to beat. +2 on consolidating threads on Reverb. This is getting a bit much around here. da-ron wrote: — |
