Got one of those here in Atlanta too. It's the Great Decatur Beer Festival and both the X-Rays and The Surge! have been lucky enough to play for it . Five times as I remember, I frist ran into Big Ray there. I went out to Colorado on vacation last year and got to jam with the Aquasonics and make many beer tasting safaris to the micro breweries in and around Ft Collins.......Yummmm! I'll be there July 11th through 25th. Ya'll load up your dirt bike and come join me......ed

Beer (and the occasional Jameson's) managed to derail many an Orangu-Tones show, but dang we had fun!
High Life was our cheap beer o' choice.

Out of all the mega-swills MGD is my fav, especially on tap. Especially after a shot of whiskey, id rather not chase it with a super hoppy IPA.

I don't know how the O-Tones played sometimes - those guys were wrecked - but they always pulled it off.
Previous incarnations of the Aquasonics were are a sad, sober group - due to one of the members rehab - But the new band has a taste for the PBR and Highlife ( just Matt and I like the Highlife)
This year, Eddie - we'll really have a jam session!

Last Fri and Sat I got super twisted on tropical drinks, but when we went to another venue for a music show, I switched over to Newcastle because they cant make tropical drinks to save their ass at Taix(French resturaunt). And then again when I went to see Robert Drasnin at the Derby. I could have gotten martinis or something continental, but I'm not into them. Just like the Rum drinks. So 2 more Newcasltes please.
I'm begining to like a few beer buzz ontop of a good Rum buzz, kinda cool curve ball to it.
kinda like a booze speed ball

This past weekend might just have steered me over to the High Life darkside.

Warren do you mean as in "Miller high life" it is the Champagne of Beers
Or just in General as the old term for Drinking was "getting high"
I hardly ever see you drink, what gives?

I most certainly do, and it most certainly is.

It's because I'm usually driving. Speaking of which, someone owes me gas money from the last two trips ...

Never met a beer I did not like. Yardhouse in Brea,CA has 130 selections of draft beer. I hear the Yardhouse in Long Beach has over 210. That is 7 months with not repeating the same beer everyday. HEAVEN.

I had a ton of native brews when I was in Europe - I think Moretti is still my fave of the various French and Italian beers I had. There was one good french brew I tried, but don't really know because it was the only beer on tap in the cafe I was in.
Tonight, I return to the wonderful combo of PBR and Surf tunes as The Lava Rats and The Copper Tones play a show in the Mission in SF.
