Hey! That's you! A Pirate's fan in Colorado Springs? Cool. That makes two. I was out there for a BMWMOA rally in 1977. Had a great time. I don't think I'd recognize it now at all.

been a pirates fan since 1981 when my family went on a road trip from colorado up through maine and eastern canada.

ever since I went through Pittsburgh, I've been a big fan of all teams in PA.

I'm diggin my amp.
I have a vox vt40+ that is more tubey, but in all honesty, for being 1/3 the price of the VOX, this Fender is amazing.

I tried one last year and it was horrible, this new one is WAY nicer and sounds really good in person.

Thank you; that was very nice. I'm on a budget for a 2nd guitar to have around and it's clear that the Squier VM's can help with that. Your Jag does nice work. Now I need to research and find the thread, which I'm sure exists somewhere, called "How do I fix the little glitches on a VM Jazzmaster & Live Happily Ever After?"

For the bridge rattle, just ensure the floating bridge is parallel to the scratch plate. Then place a small drop of clear nail polish on the threads holding the bridge. This will stop all rattle, but it will break free if adjustments need to be made. Quick easy fix.

I actually found that putting flatwounds on the jag has somehow made it so the strings don't pop out of their spot on the bridge anymoer! Go figure!

also, the bridge saddles themselves must be parallel to the scratch plate, too. If they are crooked at all it will enhance buzzing. So everything must be flat in order to work correctly.
