February Birthdays 
So I got a day in the Twin Cities to just go out by myself. No one else likes the Mall Of America on Black Friday. Got some recommendations on places to go guitar shopping. I wasn't likely to do any buying, though I've a couple on my list. I managed 6 places of varying quality staying pretty much to the south.
I went to Lavonne in Savage, Groth, Willie's, Schmitt, Music Go Round, and PawnAmerica. Ok, the PA only because it was close to the last two.
Didn't find anything on my list. But I did get to play '62? Jazzmaster, a '65 Jaguar, and a Bass VI (don't remember the year, but from the original runs, not a reissue) at Willie's. Nice place. Got greeted and told to pull anything off the wall and play it, but ask help for anything in the dispkay cases.
