Permalink FS: Fender Jazzmaster ('62 Custom Shop) - Sparkle Sherwood Green - Awesome Color! - Like New

New Topic

Alright guys, I hate to see this go, but here it is.

Asking price: $2,750
Shipping: $100
(I live in Boston)

email me at scottsonger@gmail.com - I don't check PMs often.

Pics: Your text to link here...
(Apologies for subpar photos. The one outside was done by Guitar Broker with the use of a towel - don't worry :-P. I can provide more photos with the case and everything to anyone interested.)

This is a '62 Custom Shop (2012) Jazzmaster from Fender's Custom Shop. It was a custom order from "Guitar Broker" - a dealer in Florida. The neckplate has the Guitar Broker insignia as such. This is supposedly a one-off color never to be repeated by Fender!! It's a Sherwood Green sparkle, but it's not quite that simple. It looks different in every light, seemingly, so it's hard to photograph. Sometimes it looks like a clover green, sometimes with a slight aqua shade.

It has the lightest relic option available, which includes the subtle cracking on the nitro (hard to photograph). Neck feels very lightly worn in, almost like new.

Guitar is in 100% like new condition. It's barely been played, and of course, includes original Custom Shop case, and all case candy, including the leather strap, trem arm, fender cord, paperwork, etc. etc.

I paid 3,800 for this guitar less than a year ago, and like I said, it's barely been touched. It's one of a kind, and feels, sounds, and plays amazing.

Also included: Mastery Bridge

I have never sold anything on here, but I have tons of internet credentials ranging from Harmony Central, TheGearPage, Audiogon, Headfi, Watchuseek, Tdpri, Ebay (username: roardcs -- 100% feedback with tons of history). I figured you guys would appreciate this guitar more than any other community on the web so I'm throwing it up here first.

Thanks! Privacy was set incorrectly on the album.

Wow! Spectacular.

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

Thanks! It really has a more shamrock green sort of color in person. But, like I said, it looks different under different lights.

WOOOOOOOOOW

That is a beauty!!! I'm in the market for a JM but that one is a little out of my budget.

That sure would look good on my wall next to the other guitars. Smile

Thanks, guys. The guitar is still available. I know it's expensive, but as you know, these custom shop Fenders run about 4 G's these days, so it's actually not a bad deal for what it is, especially considering it's such a special one-off color.

Bump.

Bumping this thread. I don't check these forums very often, so if there's any interest, email me at scottsonger@gmail.com

Now, there is a mastery bridge included with the guitar (stock bridge included as well)

Price: $2,750. About 1,000 less than new cost. The guitar has barely been touched.

edit: this post was a mistake

Well, I kinda wanted to sell this to a fellow surfer on here, but alas, I need the funds now, so I've put it on ebay.

Always hate to see such a beautiful guitar part from its owner but will say good luck to you. Was a privilege to gaze at that thing. I'm with Noel - WOW.
Smile
