Been watching Dave Grohls documentary "Sound City". I've watched it about 3 times so far and I am amazed at the output of that studio. Dave Grohl seems to be the ultimate fan, using his fame and connections to play with his music heroes. No surf music but a great film just the same.

Great documentary about Tom Dowd, who was a recording engineer and producer and worked with a lot of great bands in the 60's and 70'. Interesting to see how much he contributed to so many recordings. Trailer preview here:

Carol, my wife and I LOVE Better Off Ted!!! The show got completely screwed and didn't receive enough of attention. It wasn't given a chance.

Another show we both think is like that is Outsourced, which we thought was brilliant, but very short lasting, sadly.
